This course is approved by the State of Texas (TDLR).
You should choose this option if you have permission from a Texas court or judge to complete a 6-hour defensive driving course (a/k/a driver safety course) to dismiss a Texas traffic ticket.
If you select "Ticket Dismissal" as your reason for attending the course, a two-part certificate of completion will be sent to you after you have successfully completed the course. The upper portion of the certificate (labeled "Court") must be turned in to the court in order for you to receive credit for the course. The lower part of the certificate (labeled "Insurance") can be turned in to your auto insurance provider for any applicable discounts.
If you do not have a ticket through a court and just want to take the course for insurance discount purposes, you should select "Insurance Discount" as your reason for attendance.
