With permission from a Texas court or judge, a person may take this online course for certain drug or alcohol related offenses such as Minor in Possession. Texas law also allows a person to take this course in lieu of an alcohol awareness course. DADAP is fully approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and formerly by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) for these purposes. The course may also be taken voluntarily for an auto insurance discount or to earn continuing ed credits for driver ed instructors.
