This 4-hour online Basic Driver Improvement course is fully approved by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) for all Florida counties. The course offered is Driver Training Associates' Program for Driver Improvement.
This course can be taken voluntarily to keep points off your license from a Florida traffic ticket (moving violation). An additional benefit to Florida drivers who voluntarily attend a BDI course for a Florida ticket is that Florida law prohibits an insurance company from raising rates, canceling a policy, or non-renewing a policy provided that the person who received the ticket was not at fault in a crash (§626.9541, F.S.).
